//SHAKEDOWN
HER SONG
i
could bleed
does it make me the same as her?
i could show you things
but i feel that you have
seen it all before
and i breathe
does it make me the same as her?
and i feel and i know
i feel exactly the same as her
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
i can see
that it makes me the same as her
if i shake for you
does it make you feel
the way she made you feel
and i breathe
does it make me the same as her?
and i feel and i know
i feel exactly the same as her
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
and to think i was the one
that you pushed aside
i could breathe but i fear that i'm
breathing far behind
and over
falling over
i could bleed
does it make me the same as her?
i could show you things
but i feel that you
have seen it all before
and i breathe
does it make me the same as her?
and i feel and i know
i feel exactly the same as her
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
it can't be
exactly
i am not...
she is falling over you
how did it get so old?
how did it get so old?
// ABOUT THIS SONG
"Her
Song" is probably my favorite. It's special to me because it almost didn't
make the record, but it was like, "No. We have to do this."

"Her
Song" it's written from the point of view of a couple of different people
in my life - I wanted to put myself in their shoes. It's the classic "You
left me for her" type of song.

I think as far as means of quality and sound or
just a song-scape, "Her Song" is my favorite. i love the guitars on
that and its fun. just the song and the emotion in it. lyrically, probably...thats
hard, they're all so different...oh i'll just stick with "Her Song"!
